Delete your account

You can delete your Episodeo account and all associated data directly in the app. This page explains how, what gets removed, and how to reach us if you need help.

Deletion is permanent. Once you confirm, your account, profile, and associated data are erased from your device and our servers. This action cannot be undone.

Delete your account in the app

Path: Settings → Danger Zone → Delete account

Open Episodeo and go to Settings.
Scroll to Danger Zone.
Tap Delete account.
When prompted, type DELETE to confirm.
Confirm. Your account and associated data are permanently deleted.

Prefer to keep your login? Delete only your data

If you want to wipe your content but keep the ability to log back in to an empty account, use:

Settings → Danger Zone → Delete all my data

This permanently erases your content from our servers and your device, but keeps your login so you can start fresh.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account removes your login, profile, and associated data, including:

Your watch history, including episodes, movies, seasons, series, and dates.
Your ratings, reviews, comments, journal entries, and memories.
Your watchlists, custom collections, lists, goals, rankings, and spins.
Your social data, including followers, following, liked people, and watched-with data.
Your notification preferences and device push token.
Any data you imported, including imported TV Time history.

Delete by email

If you cannot access the app, you can request deletion by email from the address linked to your account.

Send a deletion request to episodeoapp@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my account". We aim to complete email deletion requests within 7 days and confirm by email.

What may remain briefly

After deletion, residual copies in encrypted backups are purged on our infrastructure provider's rolling backup cycle. We may retain minimal security or legal logs only where required by law. Deleted content is no longer usable or visible in the app.

TV Time import archive: your raw TV Time export is unzipped and parsed on your device and is not uploaded to our servers. Only the history you choose to import is stored in your account, and that imported history is erased when you delete your account or data.
